The Role:

The Commercial Finance Manager plays a key role in connecting financial performance with commercial outcomes across Fitness Passport. The role combines deep analytical capability, financial acumen, and business partnering skills to support pricing, profitability, and operational decision-making.

Working within the Finance & Analytics team, this position acts as a bridge between Finance, Facilities (Network Development) Strategy, and the business. It provides analysis and modelling that drive commercial negotiations, facility pricing decisions, cost-per-visit optimisation, and long-term margin improvement.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and maintain models to analyse facility performance, cost-per-visit, and profitability by employer, facility, and member type.
• Support price reviews and facility negotiations with financial models, sensitivity analyses, and profitability assessments.
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for senior management and operational leaders.
• Support FP&A during forecasting and budgeting cycles with commercial insights and analytical inputs.
• Develop forward-looking models and scenario analyses to assess the financial impact of business decisions.
• Partner with GM Facilities, Strategy, and CFO to deliver commercial analysis and insights that inform negotiations and planning.
• Challenge and refine business assumptions where required to ensure analytical integrity.
• Collaborate with the Reporting Analyst and Senior Data Analyst to connect financial and operational datasets, improving visibility and decision support.
• Contribute to the design of dashboards and reporting tools that link operational metrics to financial outcomes.

About You:

• Genuinely curious and passionate about health, wellness, and fitness.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• CA/CPA/CFA qualification preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or strategic analysis roles.
• Advanced Excel and strong Power BI skills; SQL or Snowflake familiarity desirable. Used to dealing with large data sets for analytical outcomes and insights
• Demonstrated ability to translate analytical findings into actionable commercial insights.
• Strong business partnering and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication both written and presentation skills, particularly with non-technical audiences.
• Critical thinker with high attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
