About the role:

We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded, and hands-on 
Finance Manager, Commercial FP&A
 to join our Commercial Finance team. In this high-impact role, you will partner with senior leaders, including General Managers across Laser, Skin, Body, and Product categories, to provide insights, shape business strategy, and drive financial performance across our corporate and franchise clinic network.

You will lead a team of three direct reports including two Finance Business Partners and an Analyst, guiding them to deliver actionable insights that influence key business decisions. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead FP&A for MediAesthetics, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and performance reviews.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to GMs and operational leaders, supporting growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Develop business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to guide investment and commercial decisions.
  • Drive trading performance, cost optimisation, margin improvement, and revenue growth across corporate and franchise clinics.
  • Partner with operational teams to identify risks, implement improvements, and enhance clinic performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three direct reports, fostering capability and accountability.
  • Support corporate planning, Board reporting, and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and financial tools for efficiency and insight.
  • Monitor clinic KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to optimise performance.

About You

  • Proven FP&A or commercial finance experience, ideally in multi-site, retail, or franchise environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights.
  • Structured, hands-on, and strategic, able to balance detail with big-picture thinking.
  • Experienced in leading and developing small teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, influencing senior leaders effectively.
  • Advanced financial modelling and ERP/BI system skills (Adaptive Planning, PowerBI, SAP, SAGE, BPC, MicroStrategy).
  • Track record of driving growth, cost efficiency, and operational improvement.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, scaling businesses and dynamic, values-led environments.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • CPA or CA qualified.
  • Extensive experience in management accounting, performance management, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of franchise and multi-site financial operations.
  • Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, business case development, and scenario modelling.
  • Proficient in financial evaluation of projects (NPV, ROC, ROI) and strategic decision-making.
