About the Role
- Launch your career as a Speech Pathologist with CALHN's 2026 New Graduate Opportunities - tailored exclusively for students graduating in 2025.
- From your very first day, you'll be part of a warm, multidisciplinary team delivering patient-centred care across our renowned facilities, including the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
- You'll rotate through adult acute and rehabilitation services, building practical experience while developing specialist skills in dysphagia and communication disorders.
- With expert supervision and structured professional learning, you'll have every opportunity to grow your confidence and clinical expertise. You'll be encouraged to explore quality improvement projects and clinical research, while gradually taking on more independence—including the chance to contribute to weekend services as your skills expand.

About You
You're an enthusiastic new graduate ready to begin your career as a Speech Pathologist and make a real difference to patient care. With a strong foundation of professional knowledge and a collaborative mindset, you're keen to learn, grow and contribute to a supportive team environment.
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Recognised qualification in Speech Pathology (or equivalent) with eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Clear, confident communication skills to engage effectively with patients, carers and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational ability with flexibility, initiative and the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines across clinical and non-clinical settings.
