Opening in November 2025, Novotel Sydney Cabramatta is set to become the newest lifestyle destination in South West Sydney. Blending comfort, culture, and community, our hotel will feature 140 stylish guest rooms, six restaurants and bars, a dedicated conference & events centre, and entertainment spaces.
As part of the Accor family, we deliver warm, genuine hospitality with a local touch. This is your opportunity to join our pre-opening leadership team, building and leading the housekeeping department from the ground up.
What You'll Do
As Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort across the hotel. You will lead and inspire the housekeeping team to deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and manage the housekeeping team during pre-opening and beyond
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures, standards, and daily schedules
• Oversee guest room and public area presentation, ensuring brand standards are consistently met
• Manage linen and laundry operations, including supplier coordination
• Control housekeeping budgets, inventories, and ordering of supplies
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
• Work closely with Front Office, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to ensure seamless guest service
• Lead by example, championing the Accor Heartist culture and motivating your team to excel
About You
• Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper in a hotel environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, coach, and inspire large teams
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical safety, and WHS compliance
• Organised, efficient, and confident in managing budgets, rosters, and suppliers
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexible and hands-on, with the ability to adapt in a pre-opening environment
• Genuine passion for people, service, and creating memorable guest experiences
