We are seeking both associate and senior Maritime Communications Systems Engineers to join SYPAQ's Maritime Defence team. This permanent opportunity with SYPAQ will assist in supporting one of our Defence Industry Systems Integration partners for delivery of ongoing modernisation of Maritime equipment within Defence. With delivery based in Perth, this position can ideally be worked from Perth, or alternatively from our offices in either Sydney or Melbourne with travel as necessary.
As the Systems Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include the following;
- Provide key project leadership and technical engagement/oversight (in the case of the senior role) of integrated engineering teams.
- Review / Prepare design documentation and co-ordinate gate reviews as required.
- Develop and Review acceptance test plans and procedures for technology integration within the Maritime domain.
- Submission and review of engineering change process documentation across the project domain.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum Active NV1 Defence Security Clearance
- Excellent written and oral communications skills essential.
- Demonstrated Defence industry experience (Maritime / Communications experience an advantage)
