Role Overview

We are seeking both associate and senior Maritime Communications Systems Engineers to join SYPAQ’s Maritime Defence team. This permanent opportunity will support a Defence Industry Systems Integration partner for the modernization of Maritime equipment. The position is based in Perth, with potential to work from Sydney or Melbourne with travel as necessary.

Responsibilities

- Provide key project leadership and technical engagement/oversight (for senior role) of integrated engineering teams.

- Review / prepare design documentation and coordinate gate reviews as required.

- Develop and review acceptance test plans and procedures for technology integration within the Maritime domain.

- Submit and review engineering change process documentation across the project domain.

About you

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)

- Minimum Active NV1 Defence Security Clearance

- Excellent written and oral communications skills essential.

- Demonstrated Defence industry experience (Maritime/Communications experience an advantage).
