Development Manager

We are a well-established and reputable business based on the Gold Coast with a strong focus on professionalism, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a highly experienced Development Manager with extensive knowledge in residential and land lease community property developments. The successful candidate will take a hands-on leadership role across the entire project lifecycle from due diligence, feasibility assessment, and design, through to development approval, delivery, and handover, ensuring high-quality outcomes in acquisition, approvals, design, construction, stakeholder engagement, and full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years' direct experience in Development Management within land lease communities, manufactured housing estates, or retirement living.
  • Strong background in property development, planning legislation, and large-scale community projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and complex approval processes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with experience dealing with councils and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in financial feasibility and contract management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead cross-functional teams with strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
