Location: Town Hall Employment status: Permanent Full-time Classification: Municipal Officer Level 3 Agreement: Hobart City Council Enterprise Agreement 2024 Salary range: $91,138 to $99,635 per annum + 13.5% superannuation.
This role contributes to the success of the City by providing high-quality administrative support to the Council, its committees, and elected members, as well as supporting the Legal and Governance Group to meet organisational objectives.
Role accountabilities include:
- Preparing agendas, minutes, and coordinating Council and Committee meetings in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Managing logistics for special meetings, public events, and the Annual General Meeting.
- Supporting elected members and staff with the use of agenda and minutes management systems and requests for information.
- Prepare reports and correspondence arising from Council and Committee decisions.
- Provide advice and support on the Council's governance framework.
