Role Description

This is a part-time role for a Content Creator located in Sydney, NSW with some work from home acceptable. The Content Creator will be responsible for creating engaging content, developing and executing content strategies, conducting research, writing, proofreading, and video editing. The role also involves creating social media content and managing community engagement to drive brand awareness and user growth.

What you'll do

  • Design, film, and edit fun, engaging, thumb-stopping posts for TikTok and Instagram.
  • Spot trends, memes, and new formats early, put your spin on them, and test fast to see what sticks.
  • Help define how Toffee talks and shows up online through authentic, relatable storytelling.
  • Bring fresh creative ideas to campaigns, launches, and hype moments, working directly with founders and the team.
  • Use insights to figure out what's resonating (and what isn't), and apply learnings to make each post sharper.
  • From shooting and editing to posting and engaging with comments, you'll learn by doing and see your content go live in real time.
  • Get involved in community building, campaign ideas, and whatever else it takes to grow an early-stage brand.

Who you are

  • A current uni student (or recent grad) looking to break into the startup and content world.
  • Confident both behind the camera and in front of it, shooting at every opportunity you get.
  • Already making content whether it's on your personal TikTok/Instagram, for a side hustle, or for a brand.
  • Obsessed with social media, you know the trends before they hit explore, and you love figuring out why some posts go viral and others flop.
  • Creative, scrappy, and comfortable figuring things out on the fly - no task is too small if it gets the job done.
  • Excited by the idea of working in a startup where ideas move from concept
