who understands not just how to create content, but how content shapes
culture and commerce

The Role
As our
Content & Social Storyteller
, you'll be the bridge between emotion and performance - translating real human stories into content that connects deeply
and
drives growth.
You'll craft and share stories that make people feel something first - and act second. You'll bring curiosity, cultural awareness, and a test-and-learn mindset to everything you do.
This isn't a "social media manager" role - it's about building the emotional rhythm of the Deja Marc brand.
Key Responsibilities
Storytelling & Content Creation
- Capture and create emotionally driven short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that inspires belonging.
- Write heartfelt, luxury-leaning captions that connect to Deja Marc's values of love, legacy, and memory.
- Turn founder moments, customer stories, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into cultural storytelling.
- Translate major campaign themes into everyday, relatable content.
Strategy, Insights & Trends
- Use data and platform insights to continually refine content performance - test, learn, and iterate.
- Stay ahead of algorithm shifts, evolving formats, and emerging creator trends across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Monitor engagement patterns and audience sentiment to inform strategy.
- Understand how social content and commerce intersect - from UGC to shoppable storytelling.
Social Media Execution
- Plan, schedule, and publish
daily
content across social platforms. - Engage with our community - fostering conversation and connection, not just comments.
- Collaborate with our Creative Assistant to polish visual assets and ensure aesthetic consistency.
- Report weekly performance insights to the Marketing Manager and contribute to strategic planning.
You'll Be Perfect If You…
- Are a strategic thinker with a creative soul - equal parts storyteller and analyst.
- Have a proven track record creating content that performs across Reels and TikTok.
- Understand the psychology of why people share, save, and buy.
- Stay ahead of cultural shifts in digital storytelling and social commerce.
- Write beautifully - your words evoke emotion and connection.
- You love testing what works, spotting trends, and evolving fast.
- Have experience with lifestyle, fashion, or luxury brands where aesthetic integrity matters.
Bonus Skills
Interest in motherhood, memory, or meaningful gifting (you intuitively "get" our audience).
Familiarity with Shopify or shoppable social integrations.
Knowledge of Lightroom, CapCut, or similar tools.
