About the Role:

This role is part of the Programs team, which is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing strategic marketing programs to support business objectives. They work closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with company goals, drive customer engagement, and measure campaign effectiveness. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring that marketing programs are targeted, data-driven, and deliver measurable ROI.

About You:

This position is responsible and accountable for delivering the following key outcomes:

Program Marketing Initiatives – Business Partnering

· Be a business partner to the Program team, creating and implementing marketing campaigns, and initiatives to deliver on program marketing goals and success measures.

· Provide expert advice, as a business partner to S&SC team members on marketing related questions.

· Coordinate and support the delivery of workforce-related events and initiatives that align with Ageing Australia's program objectives to address the employment and recruitment needs of sector stakeholders.

· Plan and execute of employment-focused events including job expos, career fairs, workforce forums, and industry engagement sessions – delivered both onsite and virtually.

· Coordinate and provide logistical support for national and state-based workforce development events, including panel sessions, seminars, webinars, roundtables, and other initiatives that promote career pathways and workforce participation.

· Collaboration with Ageing Australia team members, employers, training providers, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful events and workforce engagement opportunities.

Program Marketing - digital systems oversight

· Work closely with external and internal IT partners and colleagues within the Services & Sector Capacity (S&SC) team to support the development and maintenance of platforms and systems associated with the delivery of Workforce Programs, ensuring seamless operation and strong user engagement. This includes overseeing the work of Program Managers, who report to the Head of Programs and contribute to the effective operation of S&SC systems.

· Manage Workforce HUB configurations and updates to align with the evolving needs of workforce programs.

· Continuously enhances the end-user experience by refining user journey pathways and implementing improvements based on feedback.

General Marketing Programs

· Create content that showcases topics of importance to workforce development including thought leadership blogs and case studies of relevance.

· Work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing & Communications Advisor to review website content, aligned to digital best practice.

· Ensure Ageing Australia brand integrity is maintained across all deliverables.

· Liaise with internal and external design or other agency professionals for outputs as required.

· Collaborate with other marketing and communications team members on key initiatives

· Tasks as directed by the Head of Marketing that promote Ageing Australia's strategy and business objectives.

Selection Criteria:

· Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, communications, graphic design, the arts or equivalent.

· Experience in creating and delivering marketing campaigns and coordinating events

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment in supporting and delivering project-based work and activities

· Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to form strong working relationships with colleagues and build credibility and rapport with stakeholders.

· Knowledge and experience of the care and/or for-purpose sector, with an understanding of relevant reforms and workforce challenges.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment in supporting and delivering project-based work and activities.

· Experience in providing high-level customer service across all levels of the organisation in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

· Highly developed oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated capacity to prepare high quality written material and to make oral presentations that meet the needs of a wide range of audiences in compelling ways including negotiation and facilitation.

· Excellent digital literacy skills and competent use of online platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

· Experience in managing multiple projects and competing priorities

· Strong time management skills and ability to identify and risk manage possible barriers.

· Awareness of and compliance with WHS requirements.

· Strong work ethics and work history that would evidence commitment to Ageing Australia's values and a genuine passion for aged care.
