Sydney CBD | Full-Time | Performance-Based Pathway to Financial Advisor

River X is a fast growing wealth management business, working with high-net-worth families, sophisticated investors, and wholesale clients. We combine institutional-grade investment research with a modern, entrepreneurial culture built on performance, accountability and continuous improvement.

We are expanding our Advisor teams and are seeking high-performance individuals who are hungry to build a career in private wealth. This is an entry-level pathway role designed for those who are disciplined and committed to earning their position as a Financial Advisor.

The Opportunity:

As an Associate Advisor, you will:

  • Support Senior Advisors in managing client relationships and growing portfolios.
  • Handle inbound enquiries from marketing campaigns and referrals.
  • Assist with onboarding, reviews, research, client follow-ups and reporting.
  • Be trained in our advisory methodology, product universe and investment frameworks.
  • Build a book over time as you progress through our Advisor Pathway Program.

Progression is based on capability and drive — not tenure.

What we're looking for:

We are seeking someone who:

  • Is RG146 qualified (RG146 in Financial Advice or relevant specialisations).
  • Is currently studying or holds a relevant degree (Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, etc.).
  • Demonstrates discipline, resilience and a high internal drive.
  • Communicates professionally and confidently.
  • Is strong in relationship-building and enjoys helping people make better financial decisions.
  • Wants to grow quickly and is willing to put in the work required.
