About the role
Byford Family Practice is seeking a talented and dedicated Practice Nurse RN to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis at our clinic located in Byford, Western Australia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to our patients, contributing to the overall well-being and positive patient experiences.
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Administering immunisations Adult and Child, injections, and other nursing interventions
- Conducting health assessments, Care Plans, including taking vital signs and collecting samples
- Providing patient education and promoting preventative healthcare
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinating patient follow-up appointments for Results
- Ensuring the clinic's clinical supplies and equipment are well-stocked and maintained
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated patient care
What we're looking for
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a general practice or primary healthcare setting
- Current and up to date Australian Immunisation competency certificate
- Strong clinical skills and ability to provide high-quality nursing care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and the healthcare team
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and clinical software Best Practice
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the practice's goals
