About the role

Byford Family Practice is seeking a talented and dedicated Practice Nurse RN to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis at our clinic located in Byford, Western Australia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to our patients, contributing to the overall well-being and positive patient experiences.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Administering immunisations Adult and Child, injections, and other nursing interventions
  • Conducting health assessments, Care Plans, including taking vital signs and collecting samples
  • Providing patient education and promoting preventative healthcare
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Coordinating patient follow-up appointments for Results
  • Ensuring the clinic's clinical supplies and equipment are well-stocked and maintained
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated patient care

What we're looking for

  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a general practice or primary healthcare setting
  • Current and up to date Australian Immunisation competency certificate
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to provide high-quality nursing care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and the healthcare team
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and clinical software Best Practice
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the practice's goals
