Millers Foods are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic process worker to join our team

About the role:

An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard working process worker. You are expected to be capable of working independently and with a variety of staff so good communication skills are necessary.

Monday-Friday role.

38 hour week.

Potential for Fulltime for the right candidate

Must be flexible between the hours of 5.30am-7.30pm

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Safely operate various production and plant machinery.
• Monitor machinery performance and maintain optimum level of plant efficiencies as per technical procedures.
• Complete all records and documentation as per Instruction.
• Monitor and report on unsafe work practices or working conditions.
• Carry out general maintenance as required.
• Lifting bags up to 25kg.
• General cleaning.
• willingness to work a variety of shifts.
• Other duties as instructed by supervisor.

About you – Skills and experience:

• Satisfactory completion of year 10 education.
• Demonstrated competency with plant and/or production processing as mixer operator or similar position.
• Commitment to a safe working environment.
• Demonstrated competency with literary and numeracy.
• Able to work with limited supervision.
• Able to handle physical and manual labor requirements of the position.
