Branch Manager, Altona

The Role:

As Branch Manager , you will be responsible for the overall performance, safety, and leadership of the Altona branch. This is a high-impact role where you'll oversee daily operations, drive service excellence, manage resources, and lead a large and diverse team to meet performance and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing operations team across transport and warehouse functions.

• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and company standards.

• Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Deliver superior customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

• Manage budgets, reporting, and KPI tracking for the branch.

• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and performance.

About You:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within transport, logistics, or supply chain.

• Strong understanding of palletised freight operations is highly desirable.

• Exceptional leadership, people management, and communication skills.

• Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics.

• A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and WHS compliance.
