Our client is a well-established logistics and transportation business with over 25 years of experience delivering reliable and efficient services across Australia.
Specialising in the safe handling of high-value and fragile items, they provide a complete service that combines both transport and warehousing solutions.
The opportunity A new opportunity has become available for a Management Accountant to join the finance team.
This role will provide important support with day-to-day accounting duties as well as assisting with management reporting to ensure the smooth running of financial operations.
Key responsibilities

Prepare, review and analyse accounting records.
Maintain accurate record keeping and accounting systems.
Assist with month-end processes, including prepayments and accruals.
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Support budgeting and forecasting tasks.
Provide advice to the Chief Financial Officer as required.
Assist with both internal and external audits.
Carry out other accounting duties as needed.

About you

CPA or CA qualified (or currently working towards).
At least 5 years' experience in accounting.
Well developed business partnering expertise
Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Team player with clear communication skills.
