Overview

A leading Sydney-based Managed Service Provider is seeking an Account Manager to take ownership of a client portfolio, strengthen relationships, and deliver measurable business outcomes. This is a full-time hybrid role (2 WFH days, 3 in office) offering a $120K base + superannuation.

What You'll Do
  • Act as the trusted advisor for a set portfolio of clients, ensuring IT strategies align with business goals
  • Drive retention and account growth through proactive communication and client engagement
  • Lead regular business and technical reviews, presenting insights and recommendations
  • Develop and implement technology roadmaps tailored to client needs
  • Manage renewals, quoting, and contract negotiations while identifying upsell opportunities
  • Ensure client satisfaction by working closely with technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Visit client sites as needed to maintain strong partnerships
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an MSP account management role (essential)
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, cloud services, and managed services delivery
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to spot opportunities for account growth and retention
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Full Australian working rights + valid driver's licence
Nice to Have
  • Background in IT support, service delivery, or technical consulting
  • Experience delivering client workshops or technology training sessions
  • Familiarity with renewals, business reviews, and long-term IT strategy planning
