Tucked inside the grand, heritage-listed Royal Insurance Building in the heart of Perth CBD, The Heritage is more than just a restaurant – it's a destination. Home to a 40-seat à la carte dining room, a 20-seat bar, a boutique wine store, and the moody, underground cocktail haven Bobeche, our venue seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern hospitality.

We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with small-scale farmers, producers, and distributors who share our commitment to sustainability. By doing so, we believe we can achieve the highest quality and best practices in every dish.

We're now looking for a talented Sous Chef

What You'll Do as Our Sous Chef:

  • Run a section efficiently during service, maintaining high standards and consistency.
  • Support your fellow chefs and apprentices in daily prep and service.
  • Assist with ordering, stock rotation, and invoice processing.
  • Ensure cleaning checklists are completed and kitchen hygiene is upheld.
  • Get involved in menu input and contribute to dish development when opportunities arise.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar kitchen environment, ideally one with a focus on quality produce and refined service.
  • Calm and focused under pressure, with great attention to detail.
  • Service-driven and committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
  • A team player who helps lift the standard of those around you.
  • Passionate about food and wine – and how they work together.
  • You hold the following certifications: Cert III in Commercial Cookery (or higher), WA Food Handler, and Food Safety Supervisor.
