We're seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team on a full-time basis, supporting our Head Chef in leading the kitchen operations across multiple outlets and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for every guest.
Your day-to-day impact
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes.
- Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, health, and safety.
- Support the Head Chef with menu planning, ordering, stock control, and cost management.
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to deliver excellence in service and teamwork.
- Collaborate with front-of-house and resort management to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Monitor equipment, manage maintenance, and uphold kitchen cleanliness and compliance standards.
- Contribute to menu innovation and the delivery of exceptional guest satisfaction results.
What you'll bring to the team
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) - essential.
- Proven experience in a similar Sous Chef or senior kitchen role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and inspire others.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
- A hands-on approach and ability to thrive in a dynamic resort environment.
- Current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain with us.
