This pivotal role ensures QTC's credit exposures are aligned with its risk appetite and strategic objectives, while delivering insights that influence executive and board-level decisions.   Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of credit risk professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Oversee credit risk assessments and exposure monitoring across lending and investment portfolios.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Collaborate with Market Risk Analytics to deliver a holistic view of QTC's financial risk position.
  • Represent QTC in external forums and strategic initiatives.
  What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years' experience in credit and counterparty risk management within financial institutions or government agencies.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience building high-performing teams.
  • Deep expertise in credit assessment methodologies, financial analysis, and risk frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of institutional investment products, credit rating systems, and exposure controls.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, sound judgement, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at executive and board levels.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, commerce or a related field.
