Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – Mid Tier Gold Miner

Are you an experienced Talent Acquisition professional with a passion for technical recruitment in the resources sector? We're seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team with a leading gold mining company that's experiencing significant growth across its Australian operations.

About the Role

As part of the team you'll play a pivotal role in attracting and securing top white-collar talent across a range of technical disciplines — including Geology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy etc.

You'll work closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to provide strategic recruitment advice, deliver a high-quality candidate experience, and ensure seamless end-to-end recruitment delivery in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and corporate positions within the mining sector
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand workforce plans and upcoming talent needs
  • Develop sourcing strategies to attract hard-to-find technical professionals
  • Screen, shortlist, and manage candidates through the recruitment process
  • Represent the employer brand professionally to both candidates and the market
  • Contribute to process improvement and talent pipelining initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience in white-collar technical recruitment, within the mining industry
  • Strong understanding of technical services roles such as Geology, Mining Engineering or related technical disciplines
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ideally the ability to start immediately or within a short notice period
