Job Description

ACAP is seeking an exceptional Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator to join our team and drive impactful work-integrated learning programs, and to enhance our internship and industry collaboration initiatives, and builds relationships with students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing WIL cross-disciplinary and nationally
  • Preparing and delivering orientation sessions, student, and supervisor workshops
  • Ensuring the WIL programs follow specified timeframes
  • Assessing and confirming work integrated learning (WIL) opportunities as per the WIL schedule (trimester or year)
  • Reviewing, assessing, and shortlisting students for WIL opportunities
  • Matching students to host organisations according to student suitability, host organisation criteria and in accordance with the relevant Discipline and accreditation requirements
  • Coordinating WIL by organising, confirming, monitoring and finalising student WIL experiences
  • Sourcing new host organisations as required and maintain relationships with existing host organisations
  • Providing support and advice to students and host organisations regarding WIL
  • Responding to student WIL issues as necessary

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience working in tertiary education
  • Demonstrated experience in developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated computer literacy, including advanced competencies in using Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, and student records software
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a flexible and adaptive manner
  • Self-disciplined and independently driven but able to work effectively in a team environment with shared goals.
  • Willingness to embrace change within a dynamic environment of systems, processes and personnel responsibilities
  • Experience using online WIL management systems (preferred)
