Fabricator / Welder

We're looking for a hands-on Fabricator / Welder with experience in sheet metal and aluminium fabrication. You'll join a small but skilled team producing everything from metal components through to finished custom products.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety – no two jobs are the same. You might be welding aluminium one day, cutting sheet metal the next, and learning plastics or signage techniques the following week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding & fabrication (aluminium, sheet metal, mild steel)
• Cutting, marking, and assembly from drawings
• Creating and working with jigs & fixtures
• Assisting with plastics and signage fabrication (training provided)
• Product quality control & accurate stock handling
• Safe use of workshop tools and compliance with WHS standards
• Occasional onsite installs (signage/metalwork)

• Trade background in fabrication, welding, or sheet metal
• Competent in MIG/TIG welding and general fabrication techniques
• Strong accuracy with measurements, cutting, and reading drawings
• Current driver's licence (forklift ticket a bonus)
• Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
• Positive, reliable, and willing to learn new skills (plastics/signage can be taught)
