Food Services Supervisor

Peppergreen Farmis looking for an enthusiastic service-orientated Food Services Supervisor.

This role is based at Peppergreen Farmlocated in Bendigo, the role of Supervisor is the provision of training and support to Supported Employees living with disability and disadvantage.

A day in the role involves...

• Planning work duties and training and supervision of Supported Employees in the preparation, service and packaging of meals resulting in quality products and services to our customers
• Maintenance of a food safe environment for the preparation and storage of products
• Ensure production and service timelines and quality standards are met by Food Services staff and Supported Employees
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service
• Complete paperwork including rosters for Supported Employees, Supported Wage System Assessments, performance assessments, incident reports, case notes, job notes etc
• Be proactive in risk identification, notification and management
• Maintain of a professional duty of care to employees at all times
• Work with the Team Leader and other Food Services Supervisors to plan and achieve social and financial outcomes for Food Services
• Actively contribute to the development of a culture consistent with the values of WISE Employment

The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience working with fresh produce to prepare meals
• Demonstrated ability to work with people who experience a broad range of disability types and require varying support needs
• Proven ability to manage time and workload effectively to achieve business priorities in a dynamic environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Food Handling and Food Safety certificate, or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office particularly Word and Outlook
• Demonstrated commitment, alignment and role modelling of WISE Employment's values
• Availability to work across the Food Services span of hours: Mon-Sat 6am-4pm
• Above all, a great personality with a can-do attitude
