THE OPPORTUNITY

Join the dynamic team at Lightforce Group as a Production Team Member. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing processes, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our industry-leading products.

We have the flexibility to help a motivated self-starter begin their career with on-the-job training, or to offer ongoing development to an already experienced person.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Operate and monitor specialised production machinery and equipment to assemble and finish products to the highest standards
  • Assemble and manufacture lighting products as per defined processes and to set quality standards
  • Perform quality control checks and tests at various production stages to maintain quality and safety
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance and adjustments
  • Follow all safety procedures and workplace policies to create a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and suggest enhancements
  • Maintain detailed production records and documentation

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in a similar production or assembly role within the manufacturing industry will be well regarded, but so will be someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to be hands-on and willingness to work in a small team
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using production equipment and machinery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment that has varied tasks but can also be repetitive
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Satisfactory completion of internal dexterity test
