The opportunity
The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Specialist is the foremost expert of RPA at Regis and is responsible for researching, implementing and testing emerging opportunities within Regis to develop intelligent automation of processes using innovative automation tools and technologies.

How you will make an impact as an RPA Specialist

  • Providing subject matter expertise to wider Regis business
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders to deliver business objectives
  • Using UiPath to enhance business processes and operations
  • Maintaining and improving existing robots by monitoring, maintaining and ensuring their continued operation and identify opportunities for efficiency elevation
  • Providing on-call support in case of disruptions or failures, and troubleshoot RPA platforms or solutions to recover services
  • Work with business SMEs to ensure requirements are thorough and complete
  • Prepare technical and design artefacts (e.g. PDD, SDD, solution code, etc.), documents and deliverables within the defined roles and responsibilities. Address automation requirements for solution design
  • Design, build, test and deploy using Intelligent Automation tools UiPath (RPA, Document Understanding, RE-Framework) and others.
  • Create solutions utilising best development practices.
  • Collaborate on governance, architecture and technical aspects to ensure alignment of the solution with the long-term approach for the business.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, review and provide feedback to the final user documentation.
  • Monitor, Schedule, scale and monitor the balance load of the developed solution to meet agreed SLAs effectiveness with business units.
  • Ensure the completeness, effectiveness, and sustainability for the implementation of proposed appropriate solution

Essential
What you will bring to the role

  • IT development background or a bachelor's degree in Information Technology (or similar)
  • 10-year industry experience, including 3+ years' relevant RPA / automation experience gained from either a consulting environment or working across multiple business units within an organisation
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional presentation and communication skills (written and verbal, formal documentation, diagramming and modelling)
  • Solutions focused and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrable software engineering skills
  • Exposure to Automation Stack (C#, .Net, PowerShell, SQL, VBA, Python, JavaScript, REST API)
  • Demonstrated understanding and awareness of Microsoft PowerApps, sharepoint and forms
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong drive to get the job done
  • Good prioritization skills in line with business objective
  • Proactive thinking with a "can do" attitude

Desirable

  • Experience in database administration and data warehousing
  • Solid background in SQL development/support (SQL server, TSQL, SSRS, SSIS)
  • Basic MS SQL Server DB Administration
