Position Summary: 

AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank we are seeking an energised, proactive, creative and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our established and enthusiastic Food & Beverage team  

Reporting to the Director of Operations, your main responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Manager will include: 

  • Manage all aspects of the food and beverage department including but not limited to financial management, administration, guest experience, strategy & compliance
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and financial reports for the department
  • Lead the food and beverage department with all operational tasks, strategies and team building initiatives 
  • Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Food and Beverage department
  • Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures whilst demonstrating the AC Hotel Core values
  • Prepare and conduct department training to enhance overall service quality through innovative and creative techniques

Skills & Experience: 

  • You will have at least 2 years of food and beverage management experience, ideally in a hotel environment
  • Experience in leading a diverse team, from managing performance, to running training sessions, and roster management
  • Must hold full working rights in Australia
  • Available to work varied shifts as per business demand, from early mornings to late evenings, on weekends & public holidays
