Position: Data Science Intern

Business Web Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Data Science Intern to join our team in Canberra, ACT. As a leading provider of web solutions for businesses, we are dedicated to helping our clients achieve their goals through innovative and data-driven strategies. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in the field of data science, working with a team of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets for analysis

- Conduct data analysis and present findings to the team

- Develop predictive models and algorithms to identify patterns and trends

- Collaborate with team members to develop data-driven solutions for our clients

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new techniques in data science

- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

- Knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Passion for learning and applying new technologies

Contract Details:
