Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised professional to join our team as a Data Scientist/Product Owner. As a Data Scientist/Product Owner, you will be responsible for providing expert advice in data science and artificial intelligence disciplines, as well as driving the development and application of data science solutions for the business.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics, with expertise in machine learning and deep learning. They will also have excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights for business leaders and stakeholders.

The role requires a high degree of independence and decision-making, with the ability to work effectively under limited direction. The successful candidate will also have experience working in cross-functional environments and be able to collaborate with other professionals to achieve project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and other programming languages
  • Statistics and Mathematics: Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics, including probability, regression analysis, Bayesian inference, and discrete mathematics
  • Machine Learning and Deep Learning: Expertise in machine learning and deep learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model selection and evaluation, and algorithm implementation
  • Data Wrangling and Visualization: Ability to clean, structure, and enrich raw, incomplete, or unstructured data to make it ready for analysis, as well as proficiency in creating compelling charts, graphs, and visualizations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
