Key Responsibilities

As a student contributor, your primary role will be to undertake clearance checking of data outputs, supporting the government to meet its legislative obligations regarding data confidentiality. You will receive comprehensive support and training, along with flexible work hours to accommodate your studies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • Critical thinking and reasoning skills to analyze complex data
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical information
  • A degree with mathematics or statistics units (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Econometrics, Economics)
  • Completion of at least first-year mathematics/statistics units and at least one year remaining on your degree
  • Proficiency in R, Stata, or other programming languages (desirable)
