About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our fast growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with exceptional people skills to build strong client relationships and grow their accounting knowledge. You will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Working directly with our individual and small to medium business clients
  • Creating and maintaining strong ongoing client relationships
  • Engaging in tax planning, compliance, and strategy meetings
  • Achieving required compliance deadlines while ensuring high quality work and client satisfaction
  • Working in a positive team environment

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a similar accounting role, ideally in Public Practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence, professionalism and ability to build relationships with clients
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Xero experience, experience with Class would be a bonus but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations
