About the role

Beda Chartered Accountants is seeking a Senior Accountant / Manager to join our growing team in Gosford, NSW. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of clients and ensuring their financial obligation requirements are met to the highest standard. You will be working within a team of Accountants and assist in supporting other team members.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining excellent client relationships through regular communication and proactive support
  • Preparing and lodging tax returns, business activity statements, and other financial documents
  • Advising clients on tax planning strategies and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Collaborating with the broader team to deliver integrated solutions to meet client needs
  • Continuously developing your technical expertise and staying up to date with industry changes

What we're looking for

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 3+ years experience within Australian Public Practice
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • CA / CPA qualified or nearing completion
  • Strong technical tax knowledge
  • Experience with all entities including SMSFs
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to be a team player
