Our client is a privately owned group of companies consisting of a dedicated team committed to delivering high quality commercial construction and industrial electrical, telecommunications and security projects.

This professionally operated organisation has operated within the industry for over 20 years, growing to be a major player in the industry, with four offices and a track record of successfully delivering multi-million-dollar landmark projects.

As the company continues to grow and secure new projects, we are seeking a Project Administrator to join their construction division. This role will be based on a major project in Toowoomba, requiring a locally based candidate, and will involve one week of initial training in Brisbane before commencing on site.

Primary Objectives

The Project Administrator is responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of major project's during the various stages of the construction process.

You will provide a wide range of project administration and support services, working closely with internal stakeholders across project management, on site project supervision and administration. 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, key role responsibilities in this position include: 

  • Project Administration support for the delivery of major projects
  • Stakeholder engagement, internally and externally, including clients, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Project and Financial reporting, supporting Project Managers to ensure monthly progress claims and variations are aligned with contract conditions
  • Quality Assurance and Safety, ensure compliance of project files, maintain project registers, manuals and project plans
  • Purchasing, assist with subcontractor and supplier agreements, assist in managing payment schedules and vendor performance
  • Additional Administration Assistance as required to support project delivery
