This newly created role will be ideal for someone who is willing to rub shoulders with the best employees in the Logistics Industry. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • At least 1 year of experience and know how in a similar role.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders. Including maintaining exceptional relationships with customer operational staff, carriers, sub-contractors, and internal staff
  • Ensure critical freight is moved in the most efficient manner possible and all consignments are proactively monitored throughout their journey to the end point.
  • Ability to evaluate and process shipping documentation including all the associated administration.
  • Ensuring all shipping is compliant with all Australian and international regulations.
  • Ability to enforce and comply with all safe work practices and procedures set in place. Including reporting and documenting all the incidents
  • Managing costs and resources including the provision of quotations
  • Respond to inquiries and escalate more complex issues to Senior staff and Manager
  • Support and work very closely with the Senior Operations Team
  • Cargowise experience preferred but not essential
