About the Role
The National Head of Sales and Product Development is responsible for driving lending growth through strong distribution relationships, targeted sales initiatives, and the creation of new lending products. The role blends strategy with execution, ideal for a senior leader who enjoys being hands-on in a smaller, fast-moving environment.
This is a national role, and applicants located in Queensland, Victoria or New South Wales are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow broker, dealer, and introducer relationships to meet lending volume and margin targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, performance measures, and incentive structures that drive growth.
- Design and launch new lending products across commercial and consumer asset classes.
- Work with Credit, Compliance, and Operations to ensure new products are viable, compliant, and scalable.
- Identify and assess new market opportunities to diversify the loan portfolio.
- Oversee pricing, product positioning, and ongoing product performance.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Technology to improve origination, conversion, and customer experience.
- Maintain product governance and ensure all sales and product activities comply with regulatory obligations.
A Little Bit About You
We're looking for someone who has a sharp eye for detail and a passion for making commercial and responsible decisions. Here's what you need to succeed:
Essential:
- Experience in sales, product, or distribution roles within consumer or commercial lending (secured auto experience highly regarded).
- Proven ability to grow intermediated channels and launch new credit products.
- Strong understanding of credit, compliance, and risk principles.
- Commercially astute, analytical, and comfortable working in a hands-on capacity.
Desirable:
- Experience in commercial asset finance or SME lending.
- Experience in automotive industry.
- Exposure to fintech or digital lending environments.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or related fields.
