**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring timely delivery of furniture products while adhering to company standards and specifications.
- Work in conjunction with the Sales Department to coordinate projects to fit within new restaurant/cafe openings.
- Troubleshoot client issues
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to optimize efficiency and maximize output.
- Coordinate with various departments, including design, procurement, and quality control, to ensure seamless production operations.
- Supervise and motivate production staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to maintain a productive and engaged workforce.
- Monitor production costs and budgetary constraints, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain inventory levels and procurement schedules to meet production demands and minimize stock shortages.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality assurance measures to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing production processes and driving operational excellence.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing principles, including lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control standards applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

The role is paying $100K + super

The hours are flexible, but the production floor starts at 6 am, so would suit an early morning person, that wants time in the afternoons for work/life balance

There is a company vehicle to use during work hours to get to sites if required.
