Yachtsmiths specialises in delivery of the highest quality finishes on luxury superyachts, production vessels, sailing yachts and timber components.

We currently have work available in Brisbane and are looking to take on new staff for upcoming projects.

Ideally the candidate has background in atleast 1 of the below:

  • Spraypainting Yachts (Automotive painters looking for a change encouraged to apply)
  • Filling and Fairing repairs or newbuilds
  • Sanding and Prepping surfaces for spray painting
  • Detailing and Buffing
  • Timber veneer finishing/Varnish work

We are now looking to fill the following positions:

Spraypainter

Parts/Small components  Spraypainter

Fairers

Trade assistant / Prep hand

Labourers that have a strong work ethic

Apprentice spray painters are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must:

  • have a good attitude and work ethic
  • have a good eye for detail
  • be reliable
  • be fit
  • have own transport
  • have the right to work in Australia

All training will be provided onsite with apprenticeships available to the right candidates

Casual during trial period

Full time positions available after trial period

Negotiable pay rate for anyone with 5+ years industry experience in spray painting/fairing superyachts
