Position description

We seek an enthusiastic Health Professional (Scientific Officer) to join our vibrant Haematology department in Macquarie Park. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results regarding haematology and morphology
  • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure quality compliance and standards  meet regulatory framework

Ideal candidate

  • Graduated with a Medical Science Degree or recognised AIMS equivalent.
  • Experience  in haematology/coagulation and morphology will be highly regarded
  • Required to working full-time hours between Monday and Friday 5:00 pm to 1:00 am and rostered weekend work.
  • Strong communication skills and can effectively communicate key stakeholders
  • A hard-working, motivated individual with a strong work ethic
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Competitive hourly pay with attractive loading.
