At preezie, we're transforming online shopping with our AI Shopping Assistant - a tool that helps online retailers deliver the kind of tailored, personalised experience that shoppers love. As our Onboarding Specialist, you'll be at the center of that transformation: helping retailers bring the AI assistant to life on their sites, guiding them through setup, and making sure they are trained up on the platform. As a fast-moving AI startup, things can change quickly - we're looking for someone who is happy (and eager) to wear different hats, roll their sleeves up, and learn as we grow. You will start off in onboarding, but then you might step into customer success and client management. Someone who wants to grow fast and take on new challenges will thrive at preezie.
What you'll do:
- Own onboarding projects end-to-end (from signup to go-live), keeping timelines and stakeholders on track.
- Run client sessions (kickoffs, check-ins, feedback reviews, training, go-live).
- Review and validate product data; make sure it meets the required specifications.
- Configure and test the AI Assistant; ensure it answers questions accurately, and make tweaks to the AI where necessary.
- Troubleshoot, document fixes, and escalate when required.
What you'll bring:
- A big part of this role involves AI prompt engineering. Prior experience in prompt engineering would be preferred.
- Experience in onboarding/implementation or customer success (SaaS/eCommerce a plus).
- Exposure to, or knowledge of eCommerce metrics, eCommerce backends (e.g. Shopify), or digital marketing.
- You are data literate, have direct experience working with data (e.g. product data, customer data, CRM data, etc.), and you're confident in validating data quality and mapping fields between systems.
- You are code-comfortable, but not a developer. You're happy to make very light tweaks in code snippets to configure, troubleshoot issues, or test.
- Eagerness to pitch in beyond onboarding: support tickets, demos, help docs, Looms, customer success management.
- Clear communicator who can take direction and execute without being followed up.
- Highly organised. Manages timelines tightly, keeps tidy notes, proactively updates stakeholders (internal and external).
- Curiosity about AI and how it helps shoppers; eagerness to learn our product deeply.
- Startup mindset: action oriented, low ego, flexible, comfortable with changing priorities.
