We're partnering with a leading architectural practice with studios across Australia to find a
Project Leader
to join their Brisbane team. This award-winning studio is known for its collaborative culture, research-led design approach, and commitment to creating spaces with social and environmental value—particularly across
education, social housing or living
, community, and commercial sectors.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of significant projects, guiding them from early concept through to completion. You'll play a key leadership role within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring quality outcomes while fostering a supportive and creative studio environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery across design, documentation, and construction phases
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
  • Coordinate internal resources, consultants, authorities, and contractors
  • Drive design quality while ensuring program, budget, and compliance requirements are met
  • Conduct design reviews, manage project resourcing, and chair team meetings
  • Provide mentoring, guidance, and support to graduates and team members
  • Oversee documentation output and ensure alignment with project goals and regulatory standards

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Architect (or working towards registration) with 6+ years of experience
  • Proven experience leading medium to large-scale projects independently
  • Demonstrated experience in education or social housing or multi-residential/living projects
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential; familiarity with BIM processes is highly regarded
  • Sound knowledge of NCC, local regulations, and contract administration (preferably AS2124 or AS4000)
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience coordinating with consultants and managing client expectations
  • Ability to balance design intent with practical and technical constraints
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for thoughtful design
