You'll lead innovative, large-scale projects while mentoring the next generation of rail professionals. Our projects not only solve real-world challenges but also create a positive legacy in communities around Queensland, Australia and the world.
What You'll Lead and Contribute To
In addition to your technical leadership, you will play a critical role in strengthening client relationships, expanding industry networks, and enhancing the company's reputation. You'll leverage your established industry position and trusted client connections to continue building our brand, expanding the project pipeline, and positioning the organisation for future growth. Your ability to develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships will be instrumental in ensuring ongoing business success and fostering new opportunities.
Here's what your role will look like:
Project Leadership: Spearhead the design, development, and delivery of high-impact rail projects, ensuring quality, sustainability, and innovative solutions.
Strategic Influence: Shape the direction of engineering practice, setting technical standards and driving best practices across your team.
Team Development: Mentor and guide our team, promoting a culture of continuous learning, growth, and excellence.
Collaboration Across Borders: Work with a network of professionals across the ANZ region, leveraging diverse expertise to deliver impactful projects.
Driving Innovation: Lead initiatives that integrate the latest engineering technologies and sustainable practices to create smarter, safer, and more efficient infrastructure.
What You'll Bring to the Table
As a proven leader with a passion for advancing infrastructure, we're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Min. 15 years of experience in engineering, with a proven track record in rail projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a high-performing team.
- A forward-thinking approach, with a passion for sustainable, innovative engineering solutions.
- A deep understanding of the rail & mass transit sector, along with the ability to influence and shape the technical direction of projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
