Your role, your impact

As Senior Clinical Coordinator, you'll lead a multi-disciplinary team supporting young people with complex and chronic mental health needs. You'll manage referrals, coordinate intake, and deliver brief, evidence-based interventions. Your leadership will foster a culture of hope, compassion, and continuous improvement, helping young people and their support networks navigate challenges and build resilience.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate enquiries, referrals, and intake assessments, including service navigation for ineligible referrals and capacity building with community referrers.
  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical supervision and overseeing day-to-day operations, allocations, and workload planning.
  • Deliver brief/short-term, evidence-based interventions to young people and their support networks. 
  • Support the team in case formulation, risk assessment, care coordination, and treatment for complex mental health issues.
  • Facilitate team meetings, clinical reviews, professional development, and program planning.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collect data and report regularly based on service requirements. 
  • Complete all organisational accountability and reporting requirements accurately and on time. 

Who we're looking for

We're seeking a compassionate, courageous leader who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and their support networks. You'll bring clinical expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to fostering hope and resilience.

  • Experience in clinical leadership, including providing supervision.
  • Experience in intake and assessment of referrals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work clinically with young people and their support networks in the context of severe mental health issues, including case management and delivering evidence-based interventions. 
  • Experience in program evaluation/coordination.
  • Strong communication, engagement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Compassionate, collaborative, and culturally competent team player.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and open to feedback and self-improvement. 

Mandatory qualifications:

  • Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or related discipline. 
  • Eligibility for membership in qualified field.
  • Current state-based driver's license.
