About Us:

Pickerings Automotive Group Townsville represents 14 new vehicle manufacturers including Prestige European brands, niche brand manufacturers and operates two Used Vehicle locations in the city. We are a member of the Pickerings Group of Companies with a wide representation throughout Queensland and the Northern Territory where we are one of the largest privately-owned Automotive dealerships in Queensland.

What's on offer:

We are looking for Prestige Brand Detailers to join our Dealership for an immediate start.

  • You will report to the Manager
  • Position is 38 hours a week
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8.30am - 4.36pm

Skills and Licences required:

  • A "O" C Class Manual driver's license
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Must be a team player with good work ethics
  • Automotive Dealership Experience (Desirable not essential)

Supporting our operations your duties will include:

  • Assessment and detailing of all new vehicles in the pre-delivery, car yard/s, delivery, showroom vehicles, and service vehicles to ensure an acceptable level of cleanliness has been maintained for presentation to customers.
  • Cleaning and detailing customer service vehicles.
  • Perform the first clean and detail of stock cars to sales presentation standards.
  • Maintain the highest possible quality in all detailing aspects.
