Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Blind, Shutters and Awning Installer located in the Greater Brisbane Area. The Blind, Shutters and Awning Installer will be responsible for installing and maintaining blinds, awnings, and other window treatments. Daily tasks include measuring and mounting hardware, fitting blinds and awnings to windows and exteriors, and ensuring all installations meet quality and safety standards. The role also requires customer interaction to ensure client satisfaction and may involve troubleshooting and providing maintenance services as needed.

Qualifications

  • Installation and Maintenance skills: Knowledge of blind, shutter and awning installation methods, ability to use hand and power tools, and understanding of maintenance practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in measuring and cutting materials accurately, as well as skills in mounting and fitting hardware.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, ability to interact professionally with clients, and good verbal communication skills.
  • Safety and Quality Assurance: Familiarity with safety standards and practices, attention to detail to ensure high-quality work, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working outdoors.
  • Experience in the industry is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
