About the Role

As our Dispatch Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory and order management system. You will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing parts, coordinating with couriers, and keeping our dispatch area organised. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for customer inquiries regarding part orders and ETAs.
• Coordinate with couriers for deliveries and collections.
• Process and dispatch orders via Quicklee, Australia Post, and other courier services.
• Update our inventory system (Reckon Hosted) and notify customers of backorders.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and ensure timely reconciliation of dispatch shelves.
• Assist front counter staff when needed.
• Receive, process, and put away incoming stock.
• Handle returns, warranty credits, and supplier reconciliations.
• Assist with forklift operations (training provided if needed).
• Keep the dispatch area clean and organised.
• Support other departments when required.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in dispatch, inventory management, or a related field.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in inventory systems (experience with Reckon Hosted is a plus).
• Forklift license (or willingness to obtain one).
• Manual driver's license (or willingness to obtain one).
• A team player with a positive attitude and commitment to customer service.

Requirements

• Police Clearance
• Australian Drivers Licence
• 8am-5pm Monday - Friday
• 40 Hours Per Week

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Reckon Accounts Hosted
• Forklift Licence
