St John's Grammar School is a leading ELC to Year 12 Independent Anglican School located in Belair, South Australia, with an exceptional reputation for providing high-quality education and development opportunities for its students and staff.

Our Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a place where young children thrive, laying the foundation for their future educational journey. We are looking for enthusiastic and caring ELC Co-Educators to join our casual relief pool. In this role you will work alongside our teaching staff and lead educator to create a fun and engaging learning environment for children aged 3-5 years. While the hours may vary, there are immediate opportunities for those ready to jump in and make a difference, with the potential for regular hours in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help plan and deliver exciting, age-appropriate educational programs.
  • Support Teaching Staff and the Lead Educator with daily classroom activities and routines.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing space for all children.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Observe and document children's progress and development.
  • Join in professional development opportunities and team meetings.

This role offers you the opportunity to utilise your friendly and organised nature within our ELC environment. The successful applicants must be approachable and experienced with a strong work ethic and a passion to contribute to the continued success of St John's Grammar School. We are ideally looking for staff with a minimum of Diploma level (or Diploma-equivalent) qualifications in early learning or a related field.

Please note that our ELC is open from 7:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and we will be looking to fill shifts across the span of these hours including during school holidays.
