Are you ready to take the next step in your career with one of Australia's most loved retailers? We're on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Planning Assistant to join our dynamic and high-performing Womens Planning Team at Kmart.
As a Planning Assistant, you will support our Planning team in making strategic decisions through sales, sizing and regional analysis reporting. You'll work closely with both our planning and inventory teams to make sure the right stock is in the right place—at the right time.
Some of the key responsibilities are (but not limited to):
- Run regular reporting and support the planning team in interpreting insights and identifying next steps to drive results
- Accountable for the setup of seasonal planning documents in preparation for the financial planning process
- Conduct size curve analysis and provide recommendations to improve size availability
- Analyse country/region and grading performance and suggest strategic actions
- Accountable for producing the post seasonal reports and support planners with post seasonal review preparation.
- Provide support to planners on key fixture planning and reporting.
- Confident and concise presentation of analysis in relevant meetings.
- Use product attribute reporting to understand category performance and drive sales opportunities
To be successful in this role:
We're looking for a commercially savvy individual with a genuine interest in retail and a customer-first mindset. You enjoy diving into data, spotting trends, and working collaboratively to drive results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are always looking for ways to improve.
We'd also love you to have:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of apportionment and replenishment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage, analyse, and interpret data with confidence
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective numerical, critical thinking and analytical capabilities
- Sound knowledge of MS Applications, especially Excel
- Relevant qualification in Commerce, Business or Retail related is highly advantageous
