As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of heavy mobile plant and quarry equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime across our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled servicing, component rebuilding, fault diagnosis, and repairs on earthmoving and quarrying equipment (e.g. loaders, excavators, dozers, dump trucks, crushers, and screening plants)
  • Perform breakdown support and reactive maintenance as required
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports
  • Ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with operators and site supervisors to ensure machinery is operating effectively
  • Effective time management with the ability to carry out work based on site and within the workshop in a timely manner

About You:

  • Trade qualified Plant Mechanic (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology or Equivalent) with at least 3 years post qualification experience
  • Experience working on heavy earthmoving/quarry equipment
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • High level of safety awareness and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Current driver's licence (HR licence highly regarded)
  • Forklift, EWP, or High-Risk Work Licence (desirable)
