Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy diesel engines and plant machinery.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and component replacements.
  • Complete fabrication, welding repairs, and modifications as needed.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate service records and report faults requiring further investigation.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment, following WHS procedures.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or equivalent.
  • Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles and equipment.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience on CAT equipment (914 to 990K) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
