An excellent full time, permanent career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Perth Field Service Team across multiple sites in the Pilbara as a Product Support Advisor, supporting a fleet of Terex MT6300 and other Products. This position is offered as a fly in fly out roster 8 days on and 6 days off.

In this role you will:

  • Drive Product improvement initiatives, influencing site engineers with current Penske / MTU recommendations, proactively reviewing service documentation and scheduled maintenance practices.
  • Compile high quality field service and job reports to facilitate clear provision of information to customers, including warranty repairs.
  • Report to Perth Branch on details regarding equipment operating hours and/or any product concerns.
  • Ability to work cooperatively across multiple sites with both customer and equipment suppliers on a daily basis and liaise with maintenance planners to ensure scheduled equipment maintenance is carried out.
  • Actively contribute towards an ongoing improvement culture in the safety, quality and productivity of the Field Service team

About you:

  • Trade qualified Diesel Technician with at least 5 years of experience in related industry.
  • Experience in working on MTU engines, inclusive of diagnosis, service and major repair activity.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work professionally with a level of autonomy, interacting with Perth based supervisory support
  • Exhibit a track record of high quality work, inclusive of completing tasks in a timely manner to a very high standard
  • Possess an unwavering desire to provide leading service to Penske customers
  • Good communication skills for regular interaction with customers, colleagues and supervisors
  • Positively contribute to the ongoing growth of team success
